At Let Me In we aim to make workplaces more accessible so that people with disabilities can access them and we can reduce the disability employment gap.

We are a group of Treloar College students following the Employability and Vocational pathway.

We want to make our communities more accessible.

We attend shops, community facilities, attractions, offices and workplaces and conduct an accessibility assessment.

Once we’ve completed the assessment, the business or organisation will receive a report containing an accessibility score as well as details of strengths and areas for improvement.

About us
Treloar's Let Me In students

"The team have certainly inspired us to actively investigate our own accessibility needs on site. With the support of the ‘Let Me In’ team, we as a business are striving to change minds and challenge our own beliefs, we look forward to building on our relationship and working further with the team to help make our community more accessible."

Learn more about how we can help you meet your accessibility goals

How much does an accessibility audit cost?

We believe that meaningful conversations about disability and employment should be accessible to everyone. Your support helps us bring together the business community, amplify disabled voices, and create lasting change. Our prices start at £250, and are scaled up, dependent on the size of your organisation.

What does the accessibility audit include?

Treloar's Let Me In students will visit your premises and use a 20 point assessment checklist to generate a percentage score and a star rating. You will receive a certificate and a detailed report including advice and recommendations for any improvements to be made within 10 working days, during term time.

If we have areas for improvements, can Let Me In help with that?

Let Me In will offer advice and guidance for making adjustments to your premises. We can also recommend organisations that manufacture equipment to aid accessibility.

When do you do accessibility audits?

We can be fairly flexible but most appointments for audits and assessments are on Fridays between 9 am - 12 pm, during term time. If you would prefer another slot, we may be able to make alternative arrangements. Get in touch to find out more.

One of our proudest achievements was to be invited by The Watercress Line to help design a fully accessible train carriage for the heritage railway line. Treloar College students from Let Me In were joined by Jamie Morris from BBC South Today who followed them throughout the day and interviewed them about improving access to the heritage railway and the mission behind Let Me In.

"We loved learning from you and to get your input into how Microsoft technology can better serve all and when you came to run your ‘Let Me In’ assessment at our Reading office you helped us make our office more accessible and taught us all so much. Through the feedback provided to our facilities team I have no doubt we made Microsoft more physically accessible and helped make a step to making it more inclusive for all from a disability employment and access perspective."
