Arts Week activities
Treloar School (and many of College students) had a wonderful time during our summer Arts Week in early July. Students were treated to a wonderful sensory story telling experience from Head to Head, the fantastic performances from Singing Hands and fabulous harpist, Maddy Hurlstone.
Students took part in creative arts such as graffiti arts, watercolour painting and experimenting with photo art as well as flamenco dancing and acting in a play.
Primary students experimented with different art techniques and the Vocational Arts students from College took some workshops for School students.
It was a truly wild and wonderful week full of laughter and creativity and students had the opportunity to explore the whole arts spectrum. The week culminated with a recording and performance of Gnossienne no 1 by Erik Satie with harpist Maddy and the College Open Orchestra.
