Celebrating World Book Day
Happy World Book Day! This year marks World Book Day’s 25th anniversary.
25 years of changing lives through a love of books and shared reading, and the message for all children is “you are a reader”!
It is fantastic way to celebrate the power of learning, and highlight the joys of reading, as well as the need to support everyone in accessing this education.
Across our campus staff and students have enjoyed dressing up and sharing stories together.
Our School teachers made things very topical by running a
Masked Reader competition, dressing up and donning masks.
Students listened to them reading their favourite stories and had fun guessing which teacher was behind the mask – the staff team loved it too!
Our Key Stage 3 class enjoyed a Mad Hatters tea party, joined by Peter Rabbit, Cinderella and Dobby from Harry Potter.
