Earlier this month we had 5 students receive sectional certificates, 5 full Bronze Awards and 2 Silver Awards at the East Hampshire Duke of Edinburgh Award night, we were joined by students and staff from Eggar’s School, Amery Hill School, Alton Scouts and Alton Open D of E Centre. There was a great turnout with 46 young people in total receiving awards. Adventurer David Love was the guest of honour who gave a very captivating speech about his many adventures mountain climbing and the life lessons he has learned.
