Class 2/3INT visit to homes Estate Agents

On 28 February, Class 2/3INT visited ‘homes’ Estate Agents as part of their termly Homes and Houses topic. Having thought about the sequence involved in choosing, buying and moving to a new house, it was great for the students to visit the estate agent’s office in Alton. Welcomed by Ben Moore, one of the very friendly staff, the students were shown brochures of some of the current properties for sale and listened as other members of the team dealt with customers over the telephone. The students were invited to ask questions and in return were able to teach Ben some useful Makaton signs. The visit ended with a group photograph outside the office and a visit to Sainsbury’s café for some refreshments.
