It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Treloar’s!
On Friday 6th December, we were delighted to welcome current and former students, parents, staff and supporters from the local community to our annual Christmas Fair.
Visitors enjoyed browsing a wide selection of student-run enterprise stalls alongside local independent businesses selling a range of items including food, clothing and gifts which included limited edition art prints, handmade tree decorations and delicious local produce.
The Treloar’s Parents Association produced beautiful hand-crafted wreaths, while the fundraising team raffled off 28 hampers put together by many classes and departments at which raised over £1,500.
Each hamper had its own theme ranging from eco-friendly gifts to cooking and chocolate selections. This is an annual tradition that everybody fully embraced!
The Fair was also supported by two groups of corporate volunteers. Farnborough based business Aramark were on hand to serve alcohol-free mulled wine along with festive delights as well as running a guess the weight of the cake game. Staff members from Unum in Basingstoke helped to run the raffle in addition to pocket money prizes, car parking and the Treloar’s shop.
Events manager Laura Toop said:
“We are thrilled at the success of the Christmas Fair and would like to thank everybody involved for their hard work, as well as all of the visitors who came to support us”
