It’s World Music Day!

Today is #WorldMusicDay and here at Treloar’s music plays a huge part in the lives of many of our students.

From music lessons, to the Treloar choir, to our very own “Open Orchestra” (see https://www.openorchestras.org/ for full details of this amazing scheme) to individual music therapy sessions, music gives our students a chance for self-expression and fun, whatever their ability. That’s what makes it so special.

It’s even better when we can share, such as our recent visit from our friends at Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra pictured here.
