Treloar’s celebrates Pride Month

June is Pride Month where we can celebrate gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and asexual people, plus all other sexual orientations and genders.

You might wonder how we celebrate Pride at Treloar’s?

Well, you’ll be pleased to know that equality, diversity and inclusion are key values at Treloar’s all year round. Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do!

We’re always keen to learn and explore new ways to celebrate our unique differences and become the best allies possible.

In a recent Ofsted report they said of Treloar’s: “Individual identity and beliefs are valued and promoted. Difference is celebrated. Practice within the school regarding the promotion of equality and diversity is seen as an exemplar.”

How are we celebrating Pride Month?

This month we are busy with School Diversity Week and are decorating our residential houses.

We’re also hosting our LGBTQi+ staff, student and ally groups so we can best understand how to support all our students and staff.
