Treloar’s Parents’ Association (TPA)
Treloar’s Parents’ Association is not a voted Committee; instead it is a Steering Group of parent volunteers who oversees the Association’s role within Treloar’s. Association membership is automatic to all parent carers of current Treloar School and College students. The Steering Group page provides more information on steering group membership.
The role of the TPA is:
- To meet termly with the Senior Management Team to share your views and experiences.
- To support prospective, new and existing parents through the development of a peer support network
- Host events which provide pathways for parent/ carers to network
- To raise modest funds for the students residential house Christmas activities which is outside the remit of the Treloar’s Trust fundraising team
The role of the TPA is not to lobby for the resolution of personal issues and that of individual students.
The Parent Governor is nominated through the TPA Steering Group. Catherine Powell is your Parent Governor and she sits on the Governing Board representing your views and experiences.
