Bumper donation for Treloar’s students
NFU Mutual Agents and their staff have nominated Treloar’s to receive a donation of more than £3,164 from a national £1m ‘Agency Giving Fund’ launched by NFU Mutual’s Head Office.
We’re delighted to receive this donation that will support us in providing the expert care and education to our young people.
Why each donation matters
Our dedicated staff have been working hard to ensure students are safe and well throughout the pandemic, at home and on our campus. At times we have been teaching and providing support in three locations simultaneously – on residential houses, in classrooms and online.
It has been a challenging year, but we are committed to providing the equipment, learning and wellbeing activities to continue their education as far as is possible. This kind donation will really help.
Senior Partner at NFU Mutual Alton, Richard Buer, said: “The Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on everybody, including our customers and their local communities. Treloar’s is making a wonderful difference to our community in these challenging times, and we are proud to have been able to nominate this local charity to benefit from NFU Mutual’s national fund.”
Corporate Fundraiser at Treloar’s, Lucie Sim Davis, said: “We’re extremely thankful to NFU Mutual Alton for nominating us to receive a donation from the NFU Mutual Agency Giving Fund. The money will go a long way in helping us to support our vulnerable students who all have extremely complex disabilities. During the past year, our campus has been open to students throughout the pandemic and our staff have been going above and beyond to support our students in a very difficult time. We are very grateful for this gift which will enable us to continue our essential work – a very heartfelt thank you from all at Treloar’s”.
