Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is the world’s leading achievement award for young people; it is a programme of activities which develops the mind, body and soul. The Award consists of 4 activity sections: Physical, Volunteering, Skill and culminates in an Expedition. Young people must take part regularly in an activity for each section, showing commitment, helping others and developing themselves in the process.
The Award scheme is offered at Bronze level to Treloar College and School students over the age of 14. In 2017-18, we had 36 students actively participating in the Bronze Award. Activities included a 2 day sailing expedition.
