Primary and Early Years Nativity

December at Treloar’s is a time filled with Christmas activities and events. But a highlight is always the Primary and Early Years Nativity performance.

This year was extra special as it was the first time in two years when parents and families could attend in person. For the last two years Covid restrictions have meant we had to use YouTube to share the performances.

Katherine Paddington, Treloar’ Primary Lead, together with a team of teachers and student support assistants, produced Christmas with the Aliens, a Nativity play – but with an extra-terrestrial theme! Students from both the Primary School and the Nursery performed on the stage, and there was a full cast of angels, shepherds and wise men. There were colourful costumes, singing, dancing and even a spaceship!

It was a truly “magnificent joyous occasion” and all the staff worked hard to ensure everyone had a part to play in telling the familiar story with a space travelling twist.
