About us
Founded by Guy Rolfe, who’s brother James suffers from severe epilepsy and learning disabilities, Guy felt that many Day Care Centres didn’t offer enough support, diversity or free thinking for their members. Guy decided to create a unique chain of Day Care Centres that delivered support in the way he felt was required.

We pride ourselves on our holistic approach. You’ll never find any TV’s at our location and all individuals are encouraged to find their voice and make their own choices. Leading to our ethos of Your Voice, Your Choice.

Unlike many daycare services we provide support in the most beautiful of settings, surrounded by nature in secure locations.

Our Andover centre is located in Penton Mewsey, just outside Andover. It is set in a historic house, surrounded by 8 Acres and is the home of Guy and his family. Andover centre is run by our very experienced Team Leader Mary Traynor, who has worked in the care industry for many years and worked here with us for 10 years, originally starting as a volunteer. Not only does Mary bring a vast amount of experience, knowledge, empathy and care but is well respected within the industry.

Our Hook centre is Located just 10 minutes outside of Hook, and a few moments from the High Street of Hartley Wintney. The Barn is situated in a small family run farm, with chickens running free, birds in the trees and a beautiful enclosed garden. Our Hook centre is headed up by Team Leader Joanna Thurman (Jojo), with her bubbly personality, smiling face and welcoming persona Jojo is great at making our members feel like one of the family. Supported by a team of Group Leaders, Enablers and Volunteers, who all bring experience and a variety of areas to The Barn.

Our Eastleigh centre is located at the bottom of Otterbourne Hill, just a few moments from the M3, in the same grounds as Bright Horizon Day Nursery. The Pavilion is an oasis on the edge of Eastleigh, with a beautiful large enclosed garden, green views from all windowns, and private access to walks in Otterbourne Woods. There is no other location like this in the area. The centre is run by team leader Debbie, who is local to the area and has a vast amount of knowledge and experience within the industry.

This is our 3rd setting and we are really excited to be growing our James Place family and we are looking forward to welcoming new members.

Our locations are open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm
