From 5-16 years
Our holistic, student-centred, multidisciplinary approach to a curriculum encompasses education, residential, pastoral care, therapy and healthcare support. We harness our expertise to challenge and nurture our students from their individual starting points and help them lead the most fulfilling life possible, both in school and beyond. This is enabled by ensuring a strong focus on developing community and collaboration both within the School and with the wider world.
The flexible and adaptable curriculum enables us to facilitate learning for students engaging in learning from the Engagement Model (formerly early P Levels) up to GCSEs.
At Treloar’s, we recognise that the personal development of students, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, plays a significant part in their ability to learn and achieve. We therefore aim to provide an education that provides students with academic opportunities to explore and develop their own values and beliefs, spiritual awareness, high standards of personal behaviour, a positive caring attitude towards people and an understanding of their social and cultural traditions.
As students progress through the School, they are given the opportunities to extend their independence within a controlled and supportive environment. This work is undertaken as part of the curriculum in the class but is also extended to all elements of life at school and beyond through the use of community skills exercises.
